The Delaware County Symphony (DCS) offers young musicians (in grades 9-12) of outstanding talent the opportunity to audition for its annual youth concerto competition. The winner of the competition is awarded prize money and performs a work for solo instrument and orchestra during the May Symphony Series concert, which will take place on May 4, 2025! A second winner is also chosen to play at the final chamber series concert on April 6, 2025!

This year's Chamber Concert winner was a clarinet duet performed by Brahin Ahmaddiya and Kenny Mellon. Kenny will be performing the Poulenc Clarinet Sonata as a solo at the chamber concert on April 6th, 2025.  Kwanyun Loo, our Symphony competition winner, will be performing Tchaikovsky's Variations on a Rococo Theme, Op.33 on May 4th, 2025.
