The Delaware County Symphony (DCS) offers young musicians (in grades 9-12) of outstanding talent the opportunity to audition for its annual youth concerto competition. The winner of the competition is awarded prize money and performs a work for solo instrument and orchestra during the May Symphony Series concert, which will take place on May 4, 2025! A second winner is also chosen to play at the final chamber series concert on April 6, 2025!

Last year's Chamber Concert winner was Maxwell Brown and the Symphony competition winner was Kai Freeman, pictured below, who performed Mendelssohn's Concerto for violin in E Minor on May 5th, 2024. Congratulations to both Max and Kai!
